All sessions take place at The Twin Towers Hotel. Please check the ProMAC Symposium 2009 program for specific room assignments.
[Note] All Presenters and Session Chairs must register for the symposium in advance.
Each breakout session consists of plural presentations (two or four presentations), and each presentation is 20 minutes long including QA time.
Speaker Guidelines
If you are presenting a paper, please follow the guidelines below:
- All presentation materials need to be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- There are two ways to show your presentation material on a screen as follows.
- Use your notebook PC for your presentation.
- Bring the file by USB memory key and connect it to a desktop PC prepared in the session room.
- Introducing yourself to your session chair, and provide him/her with a brief background statement that he/she can use in introducing you to the audience.
- Each speaker will have 20 minutes to give their presentation including 5 minutes for question from the audience and answer time.
Session Chair Guidelines
If you are chairing a session, please follow the guidelines below:
- All chairs need to prepare a watch yourself.
- Ensuring all speakers are present at their respective session.
- Introducing a speaker and his/her paper to the audience.
- Ensuring that speakers and sessions start and finish on time. (Each presentation is 20 minutes long including QA time.)
- Coordinating session questions and answer time.
- Closing the breakout session after completion of all presentations.
AUDIO/VISUAL EQUIPMENT
Each session room is equipped with a desktop PC, an LCD projector and a screen. The PC has Windows XP, MS Office Professional Edition 2003.
