Biography:

Since he joined Hitachi in 1972, he had been engaged in IT system development for the government and public corporations.
In 2001, he was appointed to the Corporate Officer and the General Manager of Government & Public Corporation Information Systems Division, Hitachi Ltd.
After his two-year career as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Data Systems Solutions Holding Corporation (USA), he returned to Hitachi as the Chief Operating Officer of Information & Telecommunication System Group in April 2005.
In the next year, he was appointed to the Vice President and Executive Officer of Hitachi headquarters, and the Executive Vice President of Hitachi Information & Telecommunication System Group.
And he has been in his present position since the establishment of Information & Telecommunication Systems Company of Hitachi in October 2009.
